How Thoughts Die.

The thought in your head won't go away,
It has been there for a long while,
It flashes momentarily on your mind,
Seeking for your attention to nurture it,
Sometimes, it gets lost as you navigate life,
Falling and sinking deep into the dark beneath,
Where similar thoughts lay dead and buried,
A burial ground, of hopes and dreams,
After which,  another pops up.
