No One Tells You.
Of their success and failures,
The part of the picture that was edited,
That will make their story imperfect.
No one really tells you,
Their unfair advantages,
Their lucks and privileges,
That made their lives easier.
No one tells you about stories of failures,
The almost had, and nearly misses,
The unlucky ones that tried more than the victors,
Those thar their failures wasn't their faults.
No one tells you about life grey areas,
The silver lining and blurred lines,
The complexities and diversities of life,
Because life isn't simple or black and white.
