Just one more time, You scroll through the feeds, To get a feel of the frenzy, From the Internet thrill. The pings and buzzes, From likes and comments, Notifying and distracting, You aren't even worried. A whole day is gone, Nothing gets done, You swear tomorrow will be different, You forgot you're addicted.

Body Dissatisfaction, No end in sight, You sculpt and cut, Still imperfect still, You drill and fill, Just to fit in, After the initial thrill, You still feel empty within, You  know another cut, Won't fill the depth within,  Until you accept your body for real,  Every blemish you see, That's when you will be free.

Pain ; We all go through it, A fact of life, we all must experience, Physical or mental,  it hurt still, From cut or burns,  Betrayal and grief, They hurt us all, sometimes they kill, Young and old, Humans and animals, No one is freed,  From the throes of pain. ✍@Toobrightanthony 📸: Andrea Piacquadio@pexels.

Our best ideas,  don't come on our best days, Sometimes, they are disguised as pain, Or a random thought, that sneaked into our minds.
