Through The Shadows.
Through the shadows, the year passes by,
A child is born, he cries and crawls, following his shadows along.
He soon becomes a teen, that jumps and play, about, watching his shadow grow with him,
He keeps growing still, as his shadow grows.
He soon become a man, with obligations and commitments, still his shadows remains,
Going about with him, without sharing in his realities.
Soon he starts a family, and keeps growing still,
Now with different shadows, that accompany him about, as he grows still.
Now in old age, sitting beneath a tree,
Looking across the wall, facing his shadow on it,
He is wondering where the years went to, how he go here still,
Through the shadows, the years passes by.
