Idols of the mind, obsession that blinds us,

The yearning and longing, that eludes us,

The endless pursuit, that eats away our time,

The thieves of joy, the hijackers of happiness, 

The hold us bound, an hedonistic sojourn,

The idols of the minds, destroys people lives.
