Life is a gift
A special one at that,
We don't truly appreciate it,
Because it seems so common.

Life is a gift,
A beautiful one at that,
We only seem to value it,
When faced with illness or death.

Life is a gift,
That we got freely,
That should be enjoyed wholly,
And to be lived responsibly.
