Our lives was cool at the earlier stage, Innocent, but adventurous, We enjoyed our plays, sometimes cool, other times : rough, Then comes adulthood, with its cares and burdens, We lost our charms, and creative sparks, Our inquisitive minds, stop asking questions, Our playfulness was seized by maturity, Our inner child, was caged and alienated, Life was cool, till life happened. ©️Toobrightanthony. 📸: @istock

A walk down the dark forest path, Trunk of trees whilsting nature's song, The chirps of birds and insects, A perfect opera without a maestro, The sound of the winds, so cool and scary, A chilling walk, yet scary and threatening, The mind replays,scary stories of gory news, A night walk in nature's, scary and chilly. © Toobrightanthony 

The past is not in the past, It shows every now and then, No matter how hard we deny, The past shows up in the present. The past doesn't stay buried, It's pops up from the grave of history, Even when it is deeply buried, It always finds its way to the surface. The past is part of our lives, No matter how hard we deny, We cannot wipe out a life we lived, We can only accept it, so we can heal.
